In the immediate aftermath following January 6, 2021, hundreds of companies across the United States announced that they would cease financial support for any elected officials who voted against certification of the 2020 presidential election.

General Motors has given $251,500 to insurrectionist politicians since January 6, 2021.

A majority of these organizations have quietly resumed donations (while some never stopped), giving millions of dollars to the elected officials who continue to prop up the Big Lie and question the legitimacy of a free and fair election, all while laying the groundwork to steal elections in 2022 and 2024.

Corporations, including General Motors, UPS, United Health Group, and Home Depot, are funding candidates who reject free and fair elections. This toxic, white supremacist ideology is rooted in the same lies that established enslavement and advocated for Jim Crow and is now threatening American democracy.
