In the immediate aftermath following January 6, 2021, hundreds of companies across the United States announced that they would cease financial support for any elected officials who voted against certification of the 2020 presidential election.
“Character and public integrity aligning with GM’s core values are considered when making PAC contributions. […] For 2021, as is standard in any contribution cycle, PAC contributions will be evaluated to ensure candidates align with our core values…”
General Motors has given $251,500 to insurrectionist politicians since January 6, 2021.

A majority of these organizations have quietly resumed donations (while some never stopped), giving millions of dollars to the elected officials who continue to prop up the Big Lie and question the legitimacy of a free and fair election, all while laying the groundwork to steal elections in 2022 and 2024.

Boeing has given $387,500 to insurrectionist politicians since January 6, 2021.

Corporations, including General Motors, UPS, United Health Group, and Home Depot, are funding candidates who reject free and fair elections. This toxic, white supremacist ideology is rooted in the same lies that established enslavement and advocated for Jim Crow and is now threatening American democracy. The Insurrection Index’s Corporate Watch List tracks all donations to federal elected officials who promoted, funded, voted against certification or attended the events surrounding January 6 in an effort to hold them accountable. This list is being updated regularly.
“UnitedHealth Group has decided to pause and review our federal PAC candidate donations to ensure they continue to align with our company’s values.”
UnitedHealth Group has given $198,000 to insurrectionist politicians since January 6, 2021.

“As we made clear in our statement Wednesday, the violent riot on Capitol Hill was nothing short of an assault on our democracy. We continue to call on all elected officials to do everything in their power to support a peaceful transition of power. As we do after every election, we will meet with all of our stakeholders in the coming weeks to review our political activities from the last campaign cycle before making any decisions about future plans. The troubling events of the last week will certainly be a consideration in those discussions.”
The American Bankers Association PAC has given $421,000 to insurrectionist politicians since January 6, 2021.
