In 2022, after refusing to certify the results of the midterm elections, Crosby was ordered by a judge to certify the results. Instead of complying with a judicial order, Crosby skipped the meeting to certify the 2022 election results. He also voted to require a hand count of the ballots but later abandoned those efforts after a court ruled against them.
